Your Missouri State University-West Plains User ID is your unique key to campus and online resources. Use your User ID to log into campus computers, to register for classes, to view your class schedule and grades, to review your financial aid and account balances, and to access your work resources. Protect your information - please remember to keep your password private.

Step 1: Get an M-Number and Confirmation number

Faculty and staff will be given their M-Number and Confirmation number at orientation, while students will receive theirs by letter or other means prior to registration. If you do not have or know your M-Number or Confirmation number, please contact the Information Technology Services Help Desk.

Step 2: Create Your Account

Once you have your M-Number and Confirmation number, you can begin the account creation process.

1. Verify your identity.
   You’ll complete a form with your M-Number, Confirmation number, and other information.
2. Set answers for a few security questions.
   If you ever forget your password, you will be prompted to answer one of these security questions to verify your identity.

   Note:
   If the information you supply doesn’t match what we have on file, we’ll review your responses and contact you via email or telephone before activating the account. Once your information has been verified, you’ll be able to continue.

3. Choose your User ID (sometimes called Private ID) and your university email address.
   
   
4. Confirm your choices and set your password..
   Print or record your account information. You'll need it to register for classes.

Step 3: Log in to My Grizzly Den

As a student, faculty or staff member, My Grizzly Den will be your primary point of entry to all Missouri State University-West Plains online resources.

New students should go to the Information & Services tab and click on the blue Email button to activate and begin using your Live.MissouriState.edu email account.
